I BELIEVE KJ CAN DO

Let me say this first:

"Well-trailed leaders play a vital role in Pemuda Umno and he has to take care of the diverse needs of the youth group. And to meet these demands, the Umno youth leaders has to have a complete understanding and study of the youth needs..."

...And, I believe KJ's can do this. He had an alert mind.

AND the fact is:

KHAIRY JAMALUDDIN = 33 years old.

MUKHRIZ MAHATHIR = 45 years old.

MOHD KHIR TOYO = 44 years old.

There are three more things about politicians that seem to defy the odds: age, tenure of office and qualification.

Young people today are more educated (compared with their parents), inquisitive and more exposed to the mass media and thus better informed. To tackle this problem, the Pemuda Umno leadership structure needs to be revamped...SAY NO TO OLD MAN.

...And, I believe KJ's can do this. He had an alert mind.

Umno Youth members should not only perform their functions as people's representatives but must also provide leadership and act as social reformers and agent of change to win the respect of the young. They must always keep in touch with what the young people need and their desires and aspirations must be the conduit for a winning strategy for the next general election...

Assuming that the present Parliament goes through its full term, those who are 17-18 years old now will be in the electoral roll for the next general election if they register promptly. That means we will have almost 7 million young voters in the electoral roll in 2013 (next general election).

These young people will decide the outcome of the next general election. Generally, young voters, like their counterparts in other countries, tend to be more daring, impulsive, unafraid to experiment and always willing to take stock of the 'wrongs and perhaps disregard the 'rights'......And, I believe KJ's can do this. He had an alert mind.

To come to terms with this scenario, I think the Umno Youth has to be made more appealing to this group. If in the last election votes could be easily won by just having kenduri and ceramah, the situation in the next election may not be the same.

I might as well say what I have in mind. I always believe that Umno Youth has only one force and not three. If all our 'men' could think likewise, there shouldn't be any problem as to who should be the next Chief...

...And, I believe KJ's can do this. He had an alert mind.

I believe, are made not by individual but rather by discussions and sharing of opinions among all the parties concerned. Therefore, the man who can co-ordinate and attain the co-operation of everyone involved, will be the man for the job...

If you choose to be a deadwood and remain indifferent to what is happening around you, then no amount of knowledge, education or qualifications will make you a good leader.

It is said that for developing countries, it is essential to maintain political stability in order to achieve economic and social development. This means that politicians of proven political leadership, intellectual ability and physical capacity should hold office for as long as possible.

and... I believe KJ's can do this.
